I applied to Blue Yonder-a JDA Company in the third week of December. Got a telephonic call from the recruiter after 1 week, which was based on my resume review, company culture & the job description. She was very elaborative & clear discussing the role, company culture & the entire Interview process, which I liked very much.
After that, I got a Data Science challenge; wherein I was being provided with a time series dataset & was being asked to perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), make predictions & forecast for the given problem statement in Python. They gave me approximately 1 week to complete the challenge.
2 days after submitting my solution, I got a response from the recruiter that the hiring manager liked my solution & the final round would be a 1 hour Technical Zoom Call with the Data Science VP & the hiring manager.
In the final round, they asked me about my approach to the challenge, why do it this way or that way. It was about really digging in my thought process. Then, they asked me about some of the projects that I had mentioned in my resume. Finally, they asked me basic machine learning questions to check my knowledge of ML.
After a week's time, I got a call from the recruiter that you have been selected for this position.
Overall, It was a wonderful experience, some good questions asked by the Interviewers & I really enjoyed it.
Special mention to my recruiter for advising me of all the dos & dont's before every Interview round. I really appreciate her efforts. Thank you very much :)
