I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Shield Of California (Oakland, CA) in Jun 2020
Interview
I interviewed during the early days of the pandemic. I was told by the HR recruiter that my panel interview would be conducted via video chat. This instruction was indicated in *all caps* so I took it seriously. I spent time and effort on wardrobe and tested different locations in my apartment for appropriate background and lighting so I would come across well. Minutes into the interview, I realized nobody else would be on camera, just me. It was unsettling and off-putting. My interviewers also gave the impression that they were not prepared for our discussion. Following the interview, I received an email from the recruiter saying they would follow up with me within a week. I did not hear from them again.

Interview
Good to be interviewed by a good company that caters to its employees and gives good options on benefits. And the interviewers were good and made me feel like I mattered even though I didn’t end up getting the job I appreciated them.

Interview
The interview process was good, and it was very professionally held. The communication from HR team can be improved. There was very little communication on the number of rounds in the interview.
