30 minute phone screen with HR Coordinator. Basic questions - school background, work background, tell me about yourself, etc.
Was sent an email link to an online assessment the following day. Some parts were quantitative, other parts qualitative. Math was simple, definitely able to be done in one's head. The given time frame for the assessment was two hours, though it does not take the full two hours. Use the time wisely to recheck your answers and the logic you used to arrive at those answers.
After the online assessment, was called for final rounds in Chicago. Super day consisting of two 1-hour case interviews, a fit interview (30 mins - 1 hour), and a group case interview (3 - 4 hours). The two 1-hour case interviews are back to back in the morning, and are conducted by the firm's MDs. Make sure to treat it like a business conversation - it's not so much about nailing the framework or the recommendation, but about showing how you can properly think about and scope a business problem. Don't be afraid of pushback by the MDs - be graceful and humble throughout it.
Fit interview has the standard elements - resume walkthrough, behavioral questions. Make sure to know your resume inside and out, and do not try to BS anything; the manager will ask very keen probing questions and will know if you are falsifying. BRP places high value on business ethics, and this comes through clearly in the interviews. Second half of the fit interview is reserved for questions/more personal topics (think tell me about yourself kind of questions).
Group case interview was the most interesting. Very important to note - you are not competing against anyone else in the group case, only yourself. BRP wants to see how you operate in a team format. Be willing to cede your points if you are wrong - this does not show weakness, but humility and an ability to see your flaws. Each person will be assigned a different work "flow", and will be tasked with giving a 10 minute presentation on their work. After all the presentations have been given, you will be given time as a team to come back together and hash out a final deliverable of key conclusions and recommendations. MAKE SURE TO BE THINKING ABOUT THE DELIVERABLE AS YOU WORK.
Superday finished ~4PM, and received a call at 9PM saying that I had received an offer.
