Interview
Back when I interviewed with this agency in 2018, they were Blue Laser Design still. This interview process was ridiculous. Not only did you have to interview with people over the phone but then you were required to submit to a written test and give your ideas out before you were even called in for an in-person interview. When I was offered an in-person interview I was NOT made aware that I would be meeting with 8 people. The in-person panel interview was excruciatingly humiliating. They pretty much all reviewed my resume out loud and behaved as if I wasn't in the room and didn't even call me by name. They just addressed me as "her” or “she".
The husband and wife (owners of the agency) were so unwelcoming and just grilled me over and over, pretty much pointing out every way I wasn't qualified for this position. At that point, I wanted to stand up and ask, "Then why did you bring me here?" But I held my tongue and kept up my professional stance. In hindsight, I should've walked out. I had never been so embarrassed in an interview. It was very clear that this was not a good environment to work in, but I stayed to hear everyone out and ask questions. Also, this took almost two and a half hours which was disrespectful to my time.
The owner of the agency said everything was “trial by fire”. AKA,” we are going to throw you into this company and the second you ask for flexibility or make a mistake, you’re going to get yelled at or let go.” MILLENIALS & RECENT GRADS: DO NOT WORK HERE! There are plenty of other digital agency’s in Columbus that will treat you like the valuable professional and human being that you are. This is not the place to get into the digital marketing space. This is a poorly run company by terrible people. Don’t let the cool office space and their “culture” talk fool you. I promise you will not lose anything if you skip over this place. According to the new reviews on here, I made the right choice by staying away. Do not waste your time.

Interview
It was a quick phone interview, followed by in-person interview with the team in their office. Overall a very nice experience: very laid back and a very cool space. No need for suit and tie.

Interview
When I came in to meet the staff, I had a few irons red-hot in the fire. It was an excellent interview process, as they should be. It was all about mutually getting to know one another and determining whether the fit was good for both sides. Couldn't have been more professional, candid, positive and laid back. From start to finish, my meeting with HR, the Tech Lead and the owners was a joy. This company has their feet on the ground! I was jazzed to be considered for the position. An offer was extended, and the ONLY reason I didn't accept it was due to the fact another firm also made me an offer the same day. They had a richer tech-stack I was looking to be exposed to, and they had some WFH options I wanted to take advantage of. Without those things to differentiate them from Blue Laser, I would have jumped on Brad's offer in a heartbeat.
