I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blue Apron (New York, NY) in Oct 2015
Interview
It was really smooth and well-planned. I met with 1-2 recruiters at a time, and I really saw a great team effort in making sure I was well attended to. The interview was meant to be held in another room, but they were quick on their feet and things worked out in the end. Everyone was friendly (some more than others), and the environment was extremely relaxed and comfortable.

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter that day. We set up a phone call and then was invited for 2 separate onsite interviews. The process from start to finish took about 3 weeks.

Interview
I applied online and within a day was contacted to take a virtual interview online. I did the virtual interview the next day. I was prompted with a question and then had two minutes to record my answers through my computer's video camera. The questions were typical phone screen questions- eg. tell me about yourself, why blue apron, etc. I'd never done an interview this way but thought it was a very cool use of technology.
The next day, I received an email inviting me to an onsite interview! I went into the New York office a few days later and spoke with four different people, all of whom were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I was asked about my previous experience and specific qualifications. After the interview, I was sent an exercise to complete within 5 days. I received my offer a week later!

Interview
I applied online and got a reply almost instantly to do online interviews on a platform called Take the Interview. The process went by fairly quickly from there until the final interviews where I had to meet with several people from the recruitment team. Everyone was super friendly and I enjoyed the interviews. However, it took them almost a week for them to get back to me with a rejection by email that I felt was not very constructive/personalized, especially for going all the way to the final interviews.
