It was a fun interview. My portfolio was loved by my manager. Post the preliminary formalities by the HR, the manager just asked me how soon I could join. I was asked some standard questions about my previous experience and that was it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Salary expectations.
3. Notice period.
Standard questions.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BluEnt (New York, NY) in Nov 2019
Interview
Interview was pretty professional, straight forward and may I add they went too quick with things unlike most interview calls.
I had my interview straight on phone and asked to give test next day for 3D visualization test (basically you are asked to make a model) which I did and after the test I was told, "I'll be given call next day if they want me or not."
Next day came in and no call or anything (which is acceptable if you are rejected and silence is what most companies handle rejected candidate like I was) so I decided to just mail the lead HR and ask them politely if I'm rejected if so then can I move on and give up on any hopes lol ofc they didn't reply back (which is funny because before I gave my test, HR was replying early as possible) and this is where I don't like the company for.
At least tell people you are rejected via mail, its rather unprofessional and rude, not to mention also give bad impression that whole test disguised as one day free lance job just so you can get your "free model" if you are going there for some 3D test just make sure if they ask you to give your source files, refuse to do so, give them render ONLY. I know many so called professional company call bunch of desperate people looking for job and make them work on minor work as a "test" so their "team A" can work on main project, which is really pathetic and you have to protect yourself from such scam company.
I'm sure these guys can take you far in your work of field if you get an offer, but I don't think so they respect people time and value their employers, if they are this unprofessional.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
Some general aptitude test and general papers that ask detail information about you.
Interview was directed on phone, you might never meet HR face to face(top class HR work there), if you are 3D artist, they directly ask you to join for test
It was a very professional interview with the team lead and HR followed by a telephonic confirmation of selection and a mail. Also, there was the mail detailing all the required docs by them for the selection purposes
