The following takes place between 11.00 AM and 14.30 PM. When I arrived to the office I noticed there were other candidates in the main room. I introduced myself, and started talking a bit with them as I was very nervous. After a bit a girl took us for an office tour which lasted for half an hour, after this we had a brief lunch with the engineers, while we tried to solve some rubicks cubes and talked about Bloomberg and the job. When we finished they picked us up and we went to a small room for the two on one interviews. The engineers were very kind, they introduced themselves, and so did I, the usual why Bloomberg question, and then directly to the interview. They asked me two questions about algorithms and data structures, design the algorithm and then implement it in c. I solved both the questions without too much efforts. Finished this interview we moved to the main room, and I had the opportunity to ask them questions about the company. At the end they told me to wait in the same room for someone to pick me up. After a few minutes I saw the other candidates coming in, and I understood most of them failed the interview. In less than ten minutes the same girl came to us telling 'ok you can go home'. The interview was ended for all of us but an indian guy who probably was the only one who received an offer. I am a bit disappointed as I did the interview quite well, but I respect their decision. Anyway I had a good time with them, and I will try again the next time.
