I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Block (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
I interviewed with Square for the position based on SF office. First recruiter reached out to me for a quick screen call to gauge my experience, skill set and possible fit for the position. Interview process lasted about 4 weeks and it consisted of first round phone call with Hiring Manager, second round coding exercise with couple software engineers and final round which was multiple one on one with different team members including Hiring Manager. I got a sense that they all were prepared, knew what questions they want to ask. They take a lot of notes based on how you answer those questions. My overall experience was positive. They took more than a week to come back with an offer. My recruiter Tyneisha Harris was very helpful. She was real quick in responding to my emails and answered all questions with patience.

Question 1
i) Their coding exercise is not typical LC questions. Seems like they have their own set of questions which basically are divided in multiple parts. they want you to approach problem step by step. As long as your OOP concepts are clear, you should be okay. They did not ask space and time complexity.
ii) Other questions were related to technical debugging , process related & situational.
