I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Blink Health (Austin, TX) in Apr 2021
Interview
The process included a screening call with a recruiter, a call with the hiring manager, a live project with other team members, and interviews with data and engineering. The group interviews with the team were longer blocks, compared to the initial interviews.
The live project was a classic PM problem to work through.
I wanted to really highlight the technical recruitment process with Anthony -he went above and beyond sharing information about company culture, which as a remote hire was really important. Tracy, the hiring manager was amazing and answered all my questions in detail about the scope of work, expectations, and my first 90 days. It was an amazing candidate experience that many companies do not provide. I ultimately decided to go with a role more local to my location, but I highly recommend the process with Blink. They were amazing and have great PM opportunities for learning and growing in your career!
The Interview was complete. I got good feedback and assurance to be enrolled on the next steps. I never heard back from the interviewer or the company. So I am not sure what happened to the process or my application.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How manny project management years of experience do you have?
Initial phone screen, a chat with a senior member to gauge where I could be fit in, then 5 interviewers in a day each lasting 45 mins to an hour. Every person I talked to was enthusiastic about working for Blink. New leadership is apparently great. The recruiting coordinator shared her story about how she started off as a customer service rep and worked her way into recruiting; her personal stories of how customers loved the product was genuine and added to the appeal of Blink. They got back to me within a week and after a few chats, I signed on. Super excited about this company: compensation is very competitive, the product enthusiasm is strong, and the people seem extremely competent.
