I had 3 rounds: LLD, HLD, and a Bar Raiser.
The LLD and HLD interviewers were quite nice and the discussions were constructive.
The Bar Raiser round, however, was a different experience. The interviewer, who was a lead, asked me to share my screen and walk through a project I had built. The project involved integrating and orchestrating LLM-based workflows, but he reduced it to comments like, “So you just called an LLM,” and oversimplified the architecture as “just a workflow,” questioning where the actual design was. The interaction came across as dismissive and somewhat arrogant.
On the positive side, the HR was very cooperative and transparent throughout the process, and she shared detailed feedback afterward.
One thing that was communicated clearly during the process was that the role involves long working hours and occasional late-night on-call debugging, including production issues at 2 a.m.
