Bitsquad Software interview questions

I initially contacted the company regarding their walk-in drive and was informed that it would start at 12 PM. I specifically asked if there were openings for the React Developer role and was told yes. I reached the venue on time at 12 PM. However, I had an urgent commitment at 5 PM, so I politely requested to have my interview scheduled earlier. Despite this, there were continuous delays, and my interview finally began at 5:30 PM, causing me to cancel my other plans. During the interview, I was asked technical questions related to ReactJS. The interviewer said they were satisfied with my responses and would be forwarding my profile, which left me feeling optimistic. The next day, I had another engagement at 5 PM and once again requested that my interview be scheduled earlier. However, I received a call stating that my final interview was set for 5:30 PM. I reiterated my concern, but it was not accommodated. I arrived at 5 PM and noticed that several people were casually watching the IPL and relaxing. When I inquired about my interview at 5:30 PM, I was told to wait, and the team went out for tea, further delaying the process until 6 PM. When my final interview finally began, the interviewer stated that they don’t work with React and asked if I could switch technologies and join as a beginner. He laughed while saying this, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. I declined the offer and left. If there was no opening for a ReactJS role, I don’t understand why the HR team confirmed it initially, and why the first round of the interview focused on React. I invested my time and had to cancel personal plans based on the information provided, only to be met with poor communication and unprofessional conduct.
