The interview process unfolded in three phases:
- An initial interview to delve deeper into the information listed on the candidate's resume.
- A project to be completed individually at home.
- A post-project interview to discuss the work done, review the challenges faced, the choices made, and their implementation. This interview also included technical questions to assess the candidate's thorough understanding of the tasks performed.
The project assigned was interesting and more closely resembled typical enterprise tasks rather than an algorithmic exercise. It is important to note that this project requires at least few hours of work to complete properly. However, this experience seems to vary as a wide variety of projects are possible depending on each candidate's profile from what I've heard.
The recruitment team members and the engineers responsible of me also worked to ensure the candidates' comfort.
Overall, the recruitment process was a really good experience and proved to be interesting thanks to the inclusion of the project.
