I applied online, the following day they emailed and asked me to send back a blurb explaining why I thought I’d be a good fit for their team. From there I was selected to participate in a phone interview. The phone interview went well, so they asked me to come in that week to do some job shadowing. The shadowing lasted from 9AM-3PM and then they scheduled me in for a third meeting, this time to interview in person with the manager and assistant manager. After that interview, they emailed me and invited me to a Zoom interview with the manager and the owner. When the fourth and final interview concluded, I was informed by the owner that the manager would be in contact with me within the week about the job. I hadn’t heard anything back, so the following week I followed up. The manager never ended up following up with me, they just took the job posting down. I believe the term for this is “ghosted”.
