I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BioMed Central (London, England) in Jul 2016
Interview
I was invited for a face-to-face interview, which took place around two and half weeks after the application deadline.
The interview took place in London, with two members of staff. I was asked a series of knowledge-based and competency-based questions. There were also two tests; an editorial test, and a task prioritisation exercise. The interviewers left the room during the tests and returned approximately half an hour later. I was then given the opportunity to ask questions.

Application
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BioMed Central (London, England) in Aug 2017
Interview
About 3 weeks from application to interview.
In-person interview at the Grays Inn Road office, with 2 members of staff (one from BMC, one from Springer).
The interview began with a couple of tests; one on task prioritising, one on deciding which journal abstracts would fit best in.
The face-to-face interview involved questions about the company and open access publishing. Interviewers were both friendly and it was generally a relaxed interview. Offered the job within a week, accepted within a few days.
