Interview
Phone interview before getting a virtual interview (Microsoft Teams) with 3 different individuals. The series of questions range from basic to more in-depth to get a sense of what you truly know about the different instruments you will use. If they show interest in you, then they will offer to give you a virtual tour of the lab. They get back to you with a decision in a decent amount of time (around 2 weeks).
