I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Splash Recruitment Advertising (Queenstown, Otago) in Apr 2021
Interview
I went to a cafe to meet with the CEO and one of the team members that I would be working with if I got the job. They asked me lots of questions but it wasn't nerve-wracking, they seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say and wanted to get to know me as a person.

Question 1
They asked many questions but one I can recall was where do I see myself and why did I apply to work with Big Splash.
I applied online. I interviewed at Big Splash Recruitment Advertising (Auckland, Auckland) in Feb 2021
Interview
Big Splash kept me informed of my progress at each stage from receipt of my application to the post interview update. Following stage one selection I received a call that was a short phone screening process. I was then sent a link to complete an initial assessment which involved short tests on vocabulary, grammar etc.
I was then asked to come in for an interview with the director and another employee. They were frank, honest, engaged and the interview had a great energy to it.
They really gave off the sense that they were genuinely interested in what I had to say and really cared about their employees and therefore who they wanted to welcome as the next addition.
At the end of the interview, they clearly laid out the next steps and it wasn’t long after that I received a call letting me know of their decision. They took the time to explain their decision and it was the best rejection notice I’d received that it almost felt as good as an acceptance!
