Best interview experience I've ever had, and not only because I got the job.
Everything was laid out from the start so I knew what to expect, and the technical recruiter, Julia, shepherded me through every step of the process. She was extremely supportive and they clearly wanted me to succeed.
Here are the steps I went through:
1. Julia reached out to me via email after finding my profile on LinkedIn
2. 30-minute screening with Julia over video
3. TestDome coding test, 5 questions spanning several frontend dev topics. They give you an hour but it took me probably 30 minutes. Each question is timed itself so you can't collect the time for other questions. I got 4/5 right and passed.
4. Interview with engineering manager.
5. Day-long coding test where they give you the assignment in the morning, then you spend 4-5 hours coding, then you present your work to a panel. Practical and reasonable front-end task using a Javascript framework.
6. Final panel interview where you come up with a few suggestions on how to improve the BetterHelp app/experience.
I was offered the job the morning after the final interview. The whole process took 5 weeks.
