Short phone call with recruiter followed by small technical test and on-site 3 stage interview.
Really nice team, intense but enjoyable interview process, some exciting stuff going on there.
The feedback I got from the employer was positive but strangely I was directly penalized for vocalising I had not previously done a whiteboard task in an interview (Confused as to why other interview processes matter).
In this case, the whiteboard task was also out of the scope of the written job requirements.
I was also directly penalized for optimising my solution which is bizarre 20 minutes into a 60-minute session.
I want to say this was a positive experience but honestly the above feedback, which was the only feedback I got really put a negative on it. It doesn't make sense and I'll forever be wondering if it was because they just didn't like me.
