I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Pasadena, CA) in Nov 2011
Interview
Applied online, received a call back in 2 weeks. Was in for a group interview then went to a one on one interview. Then went on to 2 more interviews one on one, the last one being with the Store Manager. They asked questions about why I want to work here and why I would be a good candidate for this job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do in a situation where a client is asking for help but you don't know about the product that he or she wants.
The interview process was not that bad. They only ask about basic questions such as, strengths, weaknesses, why do you want to work in BestBuy. The interview went by smoothly.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Mansfield, TX) in Jan 2014
Interview
The process was very touch and go. It took them two weeks to contact me then nearly another week to get me in for training. The interview itself was standard, one on one.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy in Nov 2013
Interview
I received a call about one day after I put the application in from the Back Office Lead to schedule an interview time. I was scheduled to interview on a Sunday. I arrived early and waited about 5 minutes. I interviewed the Multi-channel Sales Manager and Multi-channel Sales supervisor. After answering about 7 questions (questions ranged from describing job history, to "what-if" scenarios) they were satisfied. I then interviewed another manager. This interview was less about my ability to do the job and more about "basic stuff". Questions included, "What's your availability?", "What should be done if an employee steals?". I was not given an immediate yes or no. The next day I was asked to do a drug test and submit to a background check. Three days after I completed the drug test, I received a job offer with a starting date and a starting wage by email.
