I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Berlitz in Jan 2011
Interview
Berlitz doesn't care about the good quality of the teacher. As long as you are a native speaker and likely able to teach although you don't have any teaching experience, voila! You're accepted to be a language instructor. A big question why some US agencies send their employees to learn foreign languages at Berlitz with poor language instructors than sending them to Foreign Service Institute. Please be cautious if your process to be a language instructor seems very easy because there must be something wrong with it: either Berlitz needs you badly because their former instructor just left or been fired! The turnover in Berlitz is very high. Be prepare to be kicked out without explanation once you're accepted.
It was easy. Being a native speaker of a language other than English helps a lot. They ask regular questions: why are you interested in this job? your education etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at Berlitz (Gdańsk)
Interview
Hired for short time project. Level two interview, first one - introducing yourself, talking about previous experience; second one about salary and your expectations. Essential, simple and generic questions, nice atmosphere. No tricky questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at Berlitz (Frankfurt am Main) in Mar 2022
Interview
There were 2 interviews. One short one over the phone with very basic questions, the other over zoom. The questions were easy and I think they hire anyone who is willing to work and take part in their training.

What did you learn at school that had huge impact on you.
