I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bennett & Pless (Jacksonville, FL)

Question 1
How much are you familiar with steel design?
How much experience do you have with Revit?
I applied online. I interviewed at Bennett & Pless in Apr 2021
Interview
The interview was done by someone who was on her last day working there. This person was by their intern on her last day of college.
The company locked her out of her account so the Zoom interview was late. It makes you wonder whether the firm was participating in fake interviews so they could fulfill their EEOC requirements. Age discrimination permeated through the interview.
The recruiter wasted my time with irrelevant questions like what my greatest weakness is. That is a very irrelevant question for someone with over 20 years experience and a California Structural Engineer license.
The recruiter kept telling me I never designed buildings even though I had records proving otherwise.
The recruiter could not answer what the firm's projects were. The interviewer promised to set up the interview for the next step in the process. That never happened.
If this is how they interview, I can only imagine how they design buildings. People should not waste their time interviewing with this firm because they use recruiters as gatekeepers so candidates cannot get career opportunities with the firm.

Question 1
What are the projects that the firm is working on?
I applied through university. I interviewed at Bennett & Pless (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2021
Interview
It was very smooth and they went over my resume mostly. It was also very personal and the interviewers were genuinely interested in my experience as a structural engineer. Afterwards they sent me official document to fill it out and send to HR.
