I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bella Baby Photography in Jan 2024
Interview
I recently interviewed for a newborn photographer role at Bella Baby Photography.
The early interview rounds were a blast – easy and fun, a great experience.
However, things took a turn during the last interview with a sales manager from Chicago. Her take on the hospital photographer role got pretty negative, mentioning issues like low pay and clashes with medical staff. What really struck me were some unsettling comments about low sales to diverse communities, specifically immigrants and Hispanics. She bluntly mentioned, “there are too many of them.” It was a total red flag for me.
I strongly believe in the importance of embracing diversity at work, and I hope sharing this feedback contributes to creating a more inclusive environment at Bella Baby Photography.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bella Baby Photography
Interview
Emailed resume. Completed a shadow day at one of the hospitals. Got to see a few sessions in hospital with the photographer. I think maybe a call or a video chat after and then I was offered a position.

Interview
Thoughtful interview process. Nice to hear a walkthrough of the day-to-day as a photographer at a hospital. Made time to listen to my questions as well. Also training is pretty structured since you have to get prepare to work in hospital setting

Interview
One interview which was virtual. No in person interview which was nice. Very simple interview process and answering questions regarding how I would engage with hospital clients, experience with privacy laws, healthcare and photography/editing experience........
