      Account Executive Interview

      7 Jul 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BeeDynamic (Salt Lake City, UT) in Mar 2020

      Interview

You apply online, and if they are interested you get an email inviting you to sign up for an interview time. The first interview is a get to know you and industry overview type interview. They ask you what you know about direct marketing and explain their business model. If they like you they call you back for an interview which is a lot like the first. Then they call to extend an offer.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What do you know about direct marketing? What are some different types of direct marketing?

      Account Executive Interview

      6 May 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BeeDynamic (Salt Lake City, UT) in Nov 2018

      Interview

Someone who has worked there typically a little over 3 weeks conducts your second round interview to try to add you to their team. They will hire anyone who seems reasonable at best. They try to make the job sound as grand as possible. Heres the realistic truth: You will be knocking around in low income areas trying to convince people to buy DirectTV from you for months. Once you get promoted, you will still be knocking doors, you will just train people in the mornings.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They ask you if you know about Direct vs Indirect marketing (they don't care if you know the answer or not), they ask if you have heard of a few companies they "work with", they ask if you know the best way to sell for those companies.

The process was amazing. Very relaxed and informal. Really gave me an opportunity to get to know the owner and the culture of the business. Everyone was super nice and made me feel confortable
