I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Union, NJ) in May 2019
Interview
First round was a phone interview, where HR asked me my background, told me about the position, pretty much the basics. Then I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. I was told in an email to block of three hours of my schedule for this interview. In my head, I thought that was long, but I went ahead and made sure I had nothing planned for those three hours. WELL, I ended up being there for FIVE HOURS! I walked in, and met with the person I spoke to on the phone, where I was then given a schedule with a list of eight people I would interview with. MY ADVICE- don't waste your time, unless you're really passionate about this company. I found some people I met with to be condescending which completely turned me off. After the interview I knew I would not give this place another thought. Then the following day HR calls me and tells me they want me to speak with one more person that I didn't get to meet with that day........ yeah no thanks..... STAY AWAY

What is one thing Bed Bath & Beyond could do better?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2018
Interview
I initially applied for another position and was pre-screened by the HR director from Vancouver. She was incredibly sweet and easy to talk to. She didn't make it feel like an interview at all. She recommended me to the product team in Toronto for a different role and got me a one-on-one. I was interviewed by a buyer and the vice president; both very personable and genuinely interested in me. Everything about my experience was positive.
