I had a positive initial Zoom interview, and was told the next steps were a final panel interview. After 10 days of no updates, I followed up and was quickly scheduled for a final panel interview the next day. One interviewer was engaged, while the other seemed uninterested. I was told to expect feedback by the following Wednesday, but after hearing nothing, I followed up again the next Monday. Nearly two weeks later, I finally received a rejection email. As a former recruiter, I understand hiring delays, but leaving candidates in the dark, especially in final rounds, is frustrating. Job searching is more than just a process; it’s a major investment in one’s future.
