I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Orland Park, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
They ask you to pick a product from the store so you can "sell" it to them. Make sure to do a bit of research on the scrubs because they're not very popular and if you know what to talk about and "sell" it they'll think you're useful.
They don't take positions as a cashier just because they want you to be able to do a million things at once (a.k.a take stock form the back and fill the store with it, cashier, sell, talk to customers, put things back to their rightful place.)

Very structured and easygoing. The hiring manager was very polite and asked important questions. I didn't hear back until about two weeks later, and I accepted the position. Ended up working there for 4 years and had an awesome experience.
