Barnes Dennig interview questions

The process was simple and easy. I did a phone screening to see if I had the availability and base requirements for the role. Then an interview with two members of the team I would be working for, which was mostly a conversation, no real interview. After that, I would send follow up emails every month after my interview and each time I was told they would let me know soon, with a positive connotation like they wanted to bring me on. After 5 months of dragging me along and making me think I did not need to keep looking for a position for the summer, I was abruptly told no and lied to about the reason. I was told there was no room for any interns this summer and then a friend of mine announces how excited she is this summer after just receiving an offer the day prior.

Attempted to reach out 3 separate times after the first interview (2 emails and 1 phone cal) and was completely ghosted. This was frustrating considering the person I was interviewing told me I would hear back mid week after our conversation. Interview was on a Thursday expected to hear back by the middle of the following week. Sent a thank you email and everything with no response back. Highly frustrated. I’d rather be told I’m not a candidate then be ghosted. Gave up trying to contact after a month of no response post interview
