I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Charleston, SC) in Mar 2015
Interview
Went initially on a group orientation/overview of the job, if interested I was to fill out a piece of paper and let the office manager have it. I was then called in for a second interview with the branch manager. He then in detail explained what I would have to do if I decided to work for Bankers. How much my insurance exam, license, and study materials would cost. After being with the company for a certain period of time and meeting certain expectations all of those cost were reimbursed to me.

Question 1
Can I handle making cold calls to book my appointments from leads that they would provide me with?
At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
