I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Campbell, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
The interview process is in most cases a three step process. Because this is an entrepreneurial type of business it takes lots of interviews to find the right fit. The expectations and standards are high and you must be in a good financial place because it doesn't include a salary. Most insurance careers are contract work. The income potential is extremely high plus you get renewals for life in some cases.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you have family or friends that will support you through the difficulties of starting your own practice.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Bankers Life in Aug 2025
Interview
Two rounds and the first one is more of a bref, then if you got called back you got to do one on one interview, a little forward and kinda scary with the way they interview
The interview process was very friendly. I was asked basic questions about myself and was given the opportunity to say why I would be a good fit for the company. I was then escalated to a second interview.

Previous work experience and why I would be a good fit for the company
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life in May 2023
Interview
Two interviews, the first is a pitch of why you should work for them, plugging their benefits and anecdotes of successful employees, the second is a 1 on 1 with some pretty straightforward questions "how motivated/driven are you, how well do you learn" just hype yourself up and you get the job.
