I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Okemos, MI) in Feb 2013
Interview
The first meeting is a group setting to explain how Bankers trains and manages agents. If you're still interested you will be brought back for a personal interview. The information regarding work process in the group interview and personal interview were inaccurate. I was told most the business comes from referrals but it is actually cold calling and door knocking.

Question 1

At first is pretty much a really quick screening process over the phone, then a phone interview, and then like two in person interviews basically, with two different higher ups.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Muncie, IN) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
