The hiring process is perhaps a little vague to external parties, internally it is all run through e-recruit. The interviews are scheduled and run usually involving two or three people, one will be from the area and one from HR. In the ones I have been involved in, they are run as a round robin with each panel member moving through one question. The questions will be numerically graded and the highest ranking will be shortlisted for further discussion and choice. All parties are contacted to let them know whether they have been successful or not at the end of the process.
