I applied online. I interviewed at Baker Technologies in Mar 2018
Interview
The process was pretty easy, not many hard questions and focused more on your interest in the new industry and background that may have prepared you for this industry. Very disorganized and a long process without knowing if you were moving onto the next stage.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Baker Technologies (Denver, CO) in Jan 2018
Interview
Advertise 100-150k but really they offer at the very bottom of this scale. They want to attract as much talent as possible and convince you that its so cool that you should take below market value. Read their employee reviews about taking a pay cut to work there. All of the employee will do this for founders and investors to get rich. They will look back and realized that they launched a CRM and kiosk system and took a pay cut to watch other people make money on the employees taking pay cuts.
If that's for you good luck. CRMs are boring. May be weed isn't, but at some point you're fixing CRM bugs for terrible pay.

Interview
I did an initial screening call with the recruiter, than was invited for an in-person interview with the hiring manager. After speaking with the hiring manager, they asked me to complete an 'assignment' which was creating a buyer persona, competitive matrix, and 1 page product overview. They reviewed my completed 'assignments' and invited me in again to speak with the marketing team and product manager. After these reviews they called 2 references and then... silence. After not hearing back for a week I checked in with the recruiter and heard nothing. Maybe they went with another candidate, maybe the position closed, or maybe they just wanted some free work. After speaking with 6 people at Baker over a 2 week period and doing the 'assignment' I would have appreciated a one-line email, "Sorry, we won't be moving forward with an offer." It is extremely unprofessional to ghost candidates who have made it to the end of the interview process and have completed free work for your company.
