Let me reiterate that I had applied and was given an assessment test for the Growth Copywriter position. Did any of the questions pertain to writing? No. Grammar? No. In pretentious trying-to-be-just-like-Google-or-Amazon fashion I was asked to solve completely irrelevant math problems and logic puzzles. Again, I'm a copywriter. So who in their right mind thought that all applicants, regardless of occupational background, should take the same test...? Needless to say that I didn't complete the assessment. We're trying to look for jobs here. Stop turning an already broken, complicated process into a ridiculous little game.
