I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Baird (Milwaukee, WI) in Oct 2013
Interview
Very quick. A meet and greet with a dinner the night before the final round. Super Day consisted of interviews with 6 different analysts/associates back to back, with each one having very different personalities. Test right after lunch and then happy hour with the rest of the candidates and employees at Baird.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A ton of technical questions. Be prepared to tackle brain teasers.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Baird (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied through a college job posting. Then was contacted and told to do a online assessment, half essay and half problem solving. Then 1on1 interview on campus. Half of the questions asked were behavioral, the other half being technical/brain teasers.

Interview
Started with an on campus interview. Was invited to the super day a few days later. Consisted of a short analytics test and multiple short interviews. Lots of brain teasers.
Long but rewarding. Most questions were behavioral, but threw a few tricky technical questions. Also a lot of brain teasers. The process is very competitive and even more selective. Just know why you want to be at Baird and why equity research and you should be just fine.
