The company recruiter called me to interview me as a potential candidate for the position. I was selected as one of the final candidates to be granted a face to face interview with their management team. The interview took place in a hotel meeting room for an extensive 1.5 hour discussion. I was informed their team would review all of the candidates and be personally contacted in a couple weeks as to their decision. I was left a message on a Friday to call back their team. I called back and was unsuccessful getting through to the hiring manager the entire following week. I kept trying to call and finally was able to reach the interview manager the following Monday. He apologized and asked if he could call me back in one hour. I politely understood and waited for his call back--which never happened or anytime during the rest of the week. I called him back and was informed they had not made a decision because they needed to conduct 2 more interviews--and would be called by the following week as to their decision. A courtesy call never happened. Very unprofessional--even though I knew down deep I probably wasn'y their guy based off being blown off--proper respectful follow up by the employer is just as important as job applicant follow up
