An absolute ridiculous and unprofessional interview process, which was designed more to test your character and compatibility with the interviewers own lifestyles than your relevant capabilities to the job.
Firstly, it was a Group interview which was taken with 10 or so other people in a room sat around a table being asked increasingly bizarre questions completely unrelated to the work we'd be doing. And I became aware of multiple of these style of interviews were happening at different times.
Some examples of which are, but not limited to:
Tell us an embarrassing story about yourself?
Here's a small child's toy - come up with a story for it in groups of 3.
Speak to the person next to you and summarise who they are on a whiteboard and present it to the other candidates.
The interviewers also put a huge emphasis on "out of work bonding" which was almost entirely limited to going to the pub and taking part in drinking - which, in my professional opinion, was extremely off-putting from a workplace culture point of view.
Again, I want to stress that throughout this process little to no details about what the position would entail were given.
Unfortunately, it felt as though BULKHEAD were more interested in making a personality hire than assessing my professional capabilities.
