I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BEGA North America (Broomfield, CO) in Mar 2024
Interview
First interview took place as an initial screening where I was told I would move forward to the next level. Second interview took a lot of prompting on my part to get it completed. This second interview was timed, 30 minutes which seemed rather short considering this would entail a lot of details. It felt rushed and untimely. Not very professional for Human Resources

Question 1
What is your experience with Succession Planning? Interesting question as it was NOT part of a job requirement.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at BEGA North America (New York, NY)
Interview
Overall a lengthy and thorough interview process. I had a recruiter reach out to me on LinkedIn and after communicating back and forth we set up a phone call. After the phone call the recruiter presented candidates and I was selected for an in-person interview. My first in-person interview was with the HR, my would be manager, and the manager of the team I'd work closely with. A few days later the recruiter called me to say that I was going to move forward in the process and that the next step was an online 2-hour personality and competency exam. After I finish the exam my scores came back a few days later and the recruiter reached out saying they would like to set up a second set of interviews. The next set of interviews included the remaining managers of the department, a tour of the campus, an interview with a long term employee, and finally the vice president of the department.
Overall the process took just under 2 months but that was with coronavirus interfering.
The advice I would give to candidates is to be geniune and take your time to really think, especially during the personality and competency exam.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It was more a conversation than an interview. Some standard questions like where do you want to be in 5 years. etc
A lot of questions about culture fit. Not a lot of questions about actual skills. The interview is a popularity contest. They really push people to say that they want a Master's degree.
Very extensive hiring process. Drug test, personality assessment. They are really concerned with personality.
Hiring is through an agency.
4 rounds often, each with different people asking the same questions.
