The interview process was a positive experience. Initially, I completed an online assignment, followed by a technical round. The final round was with HR. I appreciated the timely updates regarding my interview results.

Interview
Initially, I had a call with the HR manager, she brief me about the role and requirements and setup a call for the technical round. The interviewer was great, he not only asked good questions, he also helped me when I got stuck in my thought process. Discussion started with few basic questions on JavaScript, then some problem solving and output based questions, then we moved to some backend questions, mostly theoretical. At last we had some database related questions, followed by some Git related ones as well. Having qualified for this round, I got scheduled for another call and this was mostly around behavioural and process-orientation, followed by salary discussion and joining dates discussion. Overall, I liked the process as it is simple with fewer rounds.

Frontend questions- What is hoisting, event-loop, virtual DOM in React, etc. Backend- Springboot and its advantages, dependency injection, diamond problem in Java, etc. Miscellaneous - How to speed up a website, speed up a database, indexing, sharding, how to undo last commit, difference between merge with rebase and merge with commit, etc.
