I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at BD (Raleigh, NC) in Sept 2019
Interview
I applied online and got response from HR for phone interview after a month. It was a 30 minutes interview with HR asking me questions about my qualification and salary expectation. HR was busy typing answers and therefore not much feedback. Got another phone interview (~1 hr) with hiring manager the following week. I was told more about the company and the position. Similar questions were asked. Then I was told to have the final on site interview a week later. I was surprised that it's gonna be a whole day interview -- meeting with 6 people and giving a 45 mins to 60 mins presentation. Even during lunch with the team, a few interview questions were asked. It's pretty exhausting process and I had to answer similar questions several times. I also sent out individual thank you letters after interview. After about 20 days later, I received rejection saying they moved on with other candidates. The original job was listed on their website for about 5 months when I applied. I also found out they listed a job posting with similar requirements again two months later.
An HR rep contacted me by phone, She was calling from the East Coast for a role in San Diego, California. She scheduled the call as if she would call someone on the East Coast. However, she never notified me of the time standard she was using.
Zoom call with hiring manager and engineers to ask about resume history and experiences on the resume. Straight forward interview process for contract role to work in the manufacturing side.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BD in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process was quick and somewhat efficient. The phone screening by BD recruiter, followed by phone interview with hiring manager, then interview with technical group. Process took about 2 weeks.
