The process took 1 day. I interviewed at BD in Apr 2012
Interview
You definitely get put through the paces. It all began with a 30 min phone interview with two senior level engineers / scientists. That process took 30 mins or so. Once I got called in for an on site interview I was told that I would have to present work from my phd (30 mins). I did that first thing the morning of my on site interview. This was followed by many one on one as well as panel interviews. They definitely put you through the paces to make sure you are capable, have the right personality fit, and mental agility for the job. Don't be fooled into thinking this is a walk in the park. People are very nice though so no problems on that end.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BD in Jul 2024

I had my first interview round at BD. It went well, and I'm currently waiting for a follow-up. The questions were easy and straightforward. The interview for another position was cancelled.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you elaborate on the day-to-day responsibilities of this job?
2 rounds of phone interviews with the hiring manger and his/her manager. Followed by on-site interview with the team members and several key-stakeholders in other departments (scientists, HR person, etc.) The questions are reasonable and bring out the true credential of the candidates. The accommodation is pretty good (over-night stay in hotel).
