Interview
I had a technical test were I spent two entire days of my life. When I was invited for the interview the interviewers were kind to me but the interview itself was far too formal: it was difficult to see a smile on their faces.
I received an answer after a few days saying that the interview was good but they decided not to proceed with me. I asked to specify what I could have improved. They never went back to me: I believe it is unfair that a candidate spends so much time for them while they cannot spend one minute of their time for improving the candidate life.

Interview
2 stage interview.
Stage 1 : I was given a project to work on and email the code to them.
Stage 2: Basic competency interview and review of the code. The panel were very friendly and were asking a specific set of questions. You will get a great insight on how they work and what procedures they follow.

Interview
About a month after applying online for the position I was emailed to say I'd gotten through to the next step of the interview process, a technical challenge. The challenger was fairly open with regards requirements to be fun but small enough in scope for just a couple of hours work and beautifying. About 2 weeks after submission I passed to the next stage, interviews.
Booking the slot online was a bonus as it gave me a bit of freedom, but then there weren't many slots so it cancelled itself out a little there.
The interview was great, I travelled from quite far, but those interviewing made it clear they appreciated it. We got along really well right from the start and beginning with a small technical challenge was a nice change from other interviews. It took around 20 minutes of planning and prototyping, plus 10 minutes talking through it with the interviewers to explain my methods. There was then around 45 minutes of questions varying from technical, to team orientated, to interpersonal skills types.
It was only a week after the interview when I received an offer. Although I was one of the last interviewees. I was offered the Junior Developer position due to my lack of experience, with the appropriate drop in expected salary, but this was completely valid for my situation.
