Was contacted last minute (the week after I submitted my resume and literally 48 hours before I had to fly to NC to interview on location with them). I didn't receive my itinerary until the afternoon before the day I had to fly out. I had to call the recruiter to ask about the itinerary because I was getting worried that it was so down to the wire and I hadn't gotten any communication and had to book my own tickets (company covered) and hotel (reimbursement). . It was an all day interview with about 7 different people and the interview lasted 1 hour for each person. There was a 10 minute break between each interviewer and about 40 minutes for lunch. I stayed in a conference room all day from 8:30-3pm. At the end I was told that I would hear back within a week, either way. No such contact was made. I waited 10 days and then called the recruiter, asking for an update. I didn't receive a call back so I waited another week and left another voice mail message. Still no call back. Low and behold about 40 minutes later, I received a rejection form letter in my email. Wow. Not professional, impersonal and quite disorganized.
