      Vice President Interview

      6 Jul 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Axos Bank (Boston, MA) in Jul 2023

      Interview

Was fine; and non-eventful. Fairly standard process. The turn around time was quick and they kept updating me throughout the interview process, which was very helpful. I would recommend sharing bios of interviewers in advance of interview.

      Vice President Interview

      14 Nov 2020
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Axos Bank

      Interview

Pretty straight forward. A bit put back that they did the interview in person but it was fine. They are very big into their culture. This includes being a company that isn't big into WFH and the standard is not 40 hours a week. They expect a higher level of commitment

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Nothing too far from the standard items. Tell me a weakness. How do you work in groups? How do you influence others? etc.

      Vice President Interview

      31 Oct 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Diego, CA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Axos Bank (San Diego, CA)

      Interview

Started with an interview screening with a recruiter from Axos, that experience was pleasant all the way through. That was followed by a 1 on 1 interview with my would-be direct supervisor, also went smoothly. The last stage included an online test through Wonderlic and a final interview with an executive. That's when the whole experience went downhill. The executive wasn't pleasant to talk to and came off rude. The executive was clearly trying to intimate me and said some questionable things. After all was said and done, I received an offer fairly quickly, which was nice. I had a couple other offers coming in and asked for a week extension on my decision so I could weigh all options. They came back with a passive aggressive response and treated me like I was being unreasonable, that was the final straw that lead me to declining.
