Aware Software Engineer interview questions

I applied through a recruiter. After submitted my CV and expected salary, I got a call from their HR for an on-site interview. I have to do a couple of paper tests and then had a chat with 2 managers. suddenly one of them says "We can't pay what you're expecting." (and I didn't even expect a high salary for a software developer) and that's it. these kinds of company which wasting people time shouldn't be considered working with at all
