      Customer Service Advisor Interview

      Accepted offer
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (Norwich, England)

      Interview

I applied for a customer service role and got a interview. I had no idea what department it would be for until I was in the interview so had no way of preparing for it. I was sat down in the middle of a busy office and was giving 30 minutes to read about the company and then do two tests about the products (which I had no idea about). I then had to do a fake phone call and talk to a “customer” about products which I still had NO IDEA about. After that I was taking into a room and interviewed. The whole experience was very intense and I still don’t know how they expected me to do all of those things when I had no idea what I was going to be doing until I got there.

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva (Sheffield, England)

      Interview

Application - telephone interview - group interview - face to face interview. You need to do your research into the company. They are a marvellous company. Would highly recommend. Lots of benefits and very generous with time off. Disadvantages are there alot of computer programs to learn and lots of sitting but still the best employer I've ever worked for.

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Aviva (Sheffield) in Nov 2018

      Interview

Applied through total jobs and got a call not long after applying. The call was not a telephone interview but just asked several questions about what I'm looking for then he invited me straight to a interview at the Sheffield office. Tour of the building, group exercise and then one to one interview. The group exercise was two truths and a lie and just ask as many questions here as possible to try and figure it out. You come up with your own as does the others in your group. The one to one they asked 5 questions. The wording of the questions are poorly chosen as there is nothing to indicate or prompt you to come up with specific examples in your own life.
