      I have never been more disrespected in a screening call. The recruiter amounted my professional successes/background as a failure because I was a part of a lay-off/org restructuring. This is outdated thinking as my layoff (as with many others in 2023/2024) had nothing to do with performance. He said; "Well it looks like you failed at driving this practice area disqualifying you for this position." The entire ESG team from BlackRock was laid off due to the changing ESG environment (politics, shifting economic agendas, and changing regulations), it is unjust to be judged for a market I have no control over. I have never had to defend my honor so much during a screening call - it was appalling. I would recommend that Aventiv speak to this recruiter to ensure they are treating applicants with respect and compassion.
