I interviewed for the Demand Planning Manager position and found the overall candidate experience disappointing.
The process was extremely lengthy, spanning nearly two months from mid-April to mid-June, and included five stages: an initial HR screening, an Excel assessment, a hiring manager interview, a panel interview, and a final interview with the Director. Throughout the process, there were multiple delays, including scheduling gaps due to recruiter availability and several interview reschedules made on short notice, including same-day changes.
While all interviewers were professional and the technical discussions were positive, the communication and coordination throughout the process were lacking. After investing significant time across multiple interview rounds, I ultimately received only an automated rejection email with no personalized feedback or follow-up from the recruiting team.
I fully understand and respect hiring decisions, and my concern is not the outcome. Rather, candidates who dedicate considerable time and effort through an extensive interview process deserve a more professional and personalized conclusion.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Avantor
Interview
I had a 40 min call with a recruiter from Romania, asked me questions in english and german, asked extended questions about my experience and did not wanted to divulge the salary range, motivating this was an “informal” discussion. Obviously i was not interested in having a next round of waisting time. Very unprofessional behavior
They called me outside of the agreed timeslot. I told them that I could not talk and that we could talk during the agreed timeslot. When the right time came, they did not call me, I had to call them. Then, they asked me availability for an on-site interview, only to reject me days later and not let me do that interview.
