Interview
It is a Technical phone screen arranged. Self introduction, and behavorial questions, and resume questions. He asks questions about machine learning models, regression, decision tree, random forest and some probability questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Avant in Mar 2022

1st round was pandas coding question (technical) + machine learning algorithm questions
2nd round was why avant / additional algorithm question to see my thought process / domain specific questions

Interview
I applied online and got call from HR and she scheduled meeting with Hiring Manager. It was general discussion about experience and job description and then I was asked to complete a take home test which includes SQL,Python and Data analysis tasks. I completed all. of them within time and submitted to HR and never heard back from them. All I was asking for is the feedback about my assessment. Sent few emails and HR said she will get back but she didn't. After spending time and effort in completing the assessments At least give some feedback.
Typical DS technical screen with concept check, ranging from statistics such as correlation and covariance, to ML such as dimension reduction and feature engineering. Interviewer was nice; process was swift and smooth
