I found the interview process to be unprofessional. Despite arriving five minutes early for the preliminary interview, I was told that I was late. I waited in the Zoom waiting room as instructed, only to be admitted into a group interview already in progress. Midway through the interview, another candidate scheduled for a later time entered causing the interviewer to interrupt the session. While I saw it as a misunderstanding, both circumstances highlighted significant miscommunication within the hiring team.
I was invited back for a second interview. I arrived ten minutes early but waited an additional fifteen minutes past the scheduled time before being seen. The in-person interview was conducted in pairs, which was not communicated beforehand. The interviewer left music playing from a TV above my head throughout the session. During the second to last question, the interviewer mistakenly referred to the other interviewee by my name. Furthermore, the job description did not mention that the beginning phase of the position involved door-to-door sales.
Individually, I did not see these issues as significant being that most of them were honest mistakes. But collectively, they portray the company as unprofessional, misleading, and disorganized.
