I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Aurec Group (Melbourne) in Sept 2024
Interview
It feels like this agency might just be talent pooling, as there’s no clear communication throughout the process. Every time, I’ve had to chase them for updates, which is frustrating and unprofessional. If you’re applying through them, be prepared for delays and a lack of transparency. Not a great experience overall.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Aurec Group (Sydney)
Interview
I've had discussions with one of the Aurec Group Recruiters for a long time. Initially, it was for a role but over time, she asked me to let her know of any jobs I wanted to apply for and she would talk to the recruiters in those companies and get me straight to the interviews. This did not happen because she would have problems finding the right contacts at the organisations and would only let me know very late in the stage, despite my follow-ups. The very last straw was when she would lie about the stages of contact she was at with these organisations and tell me about they were just having technical problems. I decided to contact one of these organisations to find out what was happening after the 4th job she handled and they were so horrified with what I had been told. They were very angry that their name had been used in such a dishonest way and with the lack of accountability she had showed me. I would advise against using this Recruitment Team (as a candidate) based on the many poor experiences I have had and to be careful of what you'll be told.
